Discover Harmony of Mind, Body, and Spirit
Did you know we can bring group exercise classes like yoga and bootcamp to your office or apartment building?!?
Plow pose is great to stretch the spine, #calm your mind, and ease #stress. It stimulates the #thyroid and massages the internal organs. It's great for headaches and insomnia as well as memory and concentration.
Plow Pose is typically done toward the end of a class as you really need to warm up your hamstrings and spine before practicing it.
You can place a folded blanket beneath your shoulders, practice with your legs up the wall, and aim for blocks behind your head as three great #modifications for this pose.
Avoid plow pose if you have an injury to the neck, cervical spine, or shoulders.
Plow Pose is contraindicated for those with high blood pressure and glaucoma, so don't do it if you fall into those groups!
